It's texture painting tools won't win any awards either.

Modeling seems fine, but it's horrible for any piece that requires a simulation (rigid is OK, but just OK). It's expensive, and I don't want to have to buy second piece of software to make up for the stuff it doesn't do as well.īlender: I have the most experience with this and have made some OK looking art. Modo: All it seems to having going for is smooth modeling tools. I'd love to give C4D a try, but I don't currently have Windows 10 on my computer, and won't be able to upgrade to it for a couple of months.

I've dabbled around with several pieces of software trying to find what would best for my needs. Hi! I'm a 3D graphic hobbyist who has some interest in potentially getting into indie game development over the next few months.
